3. Content Ownership & Use
All content on Thinking Through It, unless otherwise stated, is the intellectual property of Alejandro Betancourt and/or Smarketing Media LLC. This includes all written content, illustrations, captions, visual branding, and creative concepts.
Visual Content Notes:
Before December 30, 2024: Imagery may have included royalty-free photographs from platforms such as Pexels or Unsplash and early AI-generated artwork.
From December 30, 2024 onward: All illustrations are created through a collaborative process using OpenAI’s ChatGPT and DALL·E tools, based on concepts and prompts designed by Alejandro Betancourt.
What You May Do:
Share essays and content via link or social media, with attribution.
Reference the publication or its ideas in a non-commercial context.
What You May Not Do:
Reproduce, modify, or distribute any written or visual content without express written permission.
Use the content commercially or in client-facing work.
Upload TTI content to AI training datasets, machine learning models, or similar systems.
Obscure or remove author attribution or copyright notices.

4. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid subscriptions to Thinking Through It — such as newsletter access or member-only content — are processed by Smarketing Media LLC via Substack’s payment infrastructure.
All payments are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. No partial refunds, prorated reimbursements, or satisfaction guarantees are offered.

Smarketing Media LLC reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page, with the “Last Updated” date changed accordingly.
Continued use of Thinking Through It after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
