As Forrest Gump famously said, life is a box of chocolates, and boy, was he right! Nothing is permanent, not even the chocolate itself (unless you’re committed to preserving it, in which case, please seek professional help).
We have this innate desire for routine and familiarity, but change is the only constant in life. It’s like trying to hold onto a soap bubble — it may look pretty and feel satisfying to the touch, but inevitably it will burst.
Embracing impermanence allows for growth and new experiences, even if they are uncomfortable sometimes. It’s a reminder that life is full of surprises. While we can’t control the outcome of every situation, we can choose our mindset and attitude.
